
Titleist 909H Hybrid Irons
The Titleist 909H has a few distinctive design upgrades over the previous generation of Titleist Hybrid Drivers. The Titleist 909H has a club face insert has been designed to maximize the energy transfer across the face, and two rear sole ridges combine with two distinctive trapezoid shapes across the centre of the club to reduce vibration and create a lovely impact sound. The 909 range is the first time that Titleist has used the titanium blind bore hosel to secure the shaft of the club to the club face which increases the stability and flexibility across the wide range of 909 shaft options. The 909H has a swing weight screw which allows for adjustment of any weight difference when different shafts are custom fitted. The titleist 909H driver is a dramatic improvement on Titleist’s more recent drivers.
The Titleist drivers have always had a classy look to them and you will be pleased to know that the 909H has continued this tradition. The Titleist 909H delivers optimum launch and spin through the lofts. It has a modern profiles creating a deeper CG for improved stability. The large head and long face provides confidence for the higher handicap and forgiveness for the lower handicap through to the tour professionals. With a Stainless steel body and the 455 Carpenter Steel face insert provides a lively feel and increased ball speed.
The Titleist 909H provides flight, workability and trajectory control by utilizing size, shape, offset and CG location progress through the lofts. The stock shafts are the Titleist Diamana Blue 80 Hybrid and the Titleist Aldila VooDoo Hybrid. The stock grip is the Titleist Tour Velvet Rubber with the available lofts being 15, 17, 19, 21 and 24 degrees both left hand right hand. This new model feels much more alive than the previous Titleist drivers and is fairly forgiving. However if you give it a bad swing, you will surely know about it. If you are the type of player that always hits the ball somewhere in the middle, you will appreciate the consistency and the feel and sound of the impact is excellent.
